Dr. Touch Tanks is Making a Difference

For Immediate Release (2/15/2007)

Biddeford, Maine, 2 / 15 / 2007 - Touch Tanks for Kids, a non - profit organization devoted to improving science education, is welcoming Dr. Touch Tanks, his assistants, and the expertise they bring to our educational team. Dr. Touch Tanks will be initially making "house calls" to schools across the Northeast and sharing lessons about marine life. He presently hosts the question and answer portion of the Touch Tanks for Kids web site, http://www.touchtanksforkids.org/drtt, and is the focus of an upcoming interactive educational web site utilized to get students excited about learning marine science.

Dr. Touch Tanks is a marine life adventurer portrayed by Robert Sterling, an aquaculture specialist and a recent graduate of Unity College -- “America’s Environmental College.” He is also the co-owner of Ornamental Mariculture, an aquaculture company, located in Biddeford, Maine.

His introduction is being celebrated with by an excited group of preschoolers at the Kennebec Valley YMCA Manchester Campus -- 40 Granite Hill Rd Manchester, ME on Feb 22nd at 10:00 AM as part of there career month.

Touch Tanks for Kids is a public supported non-profit organization with a goal of improving science education, across America, through the promotion of the DR. Touch Tanks Program.
